Well, hello there, and welcome to another episode of Think on This. We're so glad you decided to join us today, and would you do us a favor If you're enjoying Think on this, won't you share us with your friends and leave us a positive rating and review? Thank you so much. Today, I want to start with a question. How often do you feel like you're standing at the bottom of a mountain looking up at a summit that feels impossible to reach. Think about that for a moment. We're taught to dream big, to aim high, and to settle for nothing less than monumental success. But sometimes the weight of those big dreams is exactly what keeps us paralyzed on the ground. So on this episode of Think on This, we're going to talk about the micro win, the radical idea that the smallest possible step is often more powerful than the grandest plan. We live in a culture of go big or go home. We see the highlight reels of people who seemingly overcame adversity and overnight became CEOs athletes or icons. What we don't see is the friction. When you set a goal that's too large, your brain sees it as a threat. It triggers a stress response. I want to write a book is terrifying. I want to write one sentence is manageable. The problem isn't your ambition, it's the scale. When the scale is too high, the friction is too great, and friction is the enemy of momentum. Pause for a second. Think about one thing you've been putting off because it feels too big. Got it now? Imagine breaking that thing down until it feels almost laughably easily. That is where the power lies. A micro win is a very victory, small victory that's so small it's impossible to fail. It's putting on your running shoes even if you don't leave the house. It's clearing one single email out of an inbox of a thousand. Why does this matter? Because your brain doesn't actually distinguish between the size of a win, It just recognizes the completion. Each time you finish a micro task, you get a hit of dopamine. You're essentially hacking your reward system, to provide yourself and to prove to yourself you are a person who gets things done. You aren't just moving a task. You are rebuilding your self identity. So here's my challenge for you today. Don't look at the mountain, look at your feet. Find one micro win something that takes let's say less than two minutes. Do it right now or the moment this episode ends. Notice how it feels to check that tiny box, that feeling that's momentum, and momentum once started, it is very hard to stop. You don't need a giant leap, You just need to refuse to stand still. Thanks for listening to Think on This. If this short reflection helped you find a little bit of clarity today, share it with one person who might be feeling overwhelmed. We're so glad that you're here, and we'll see you on the next episode of Think on This. Until then, be well,
