Well, hello there, and welcome to think on this. Give us five minutes will change your world. Practical advice that you can use every day on this episode of Think on this. As long as you know who you are and what makes you happy, it doesn't matter how other sees you. Let me say that again, as long as you know who you are and what makes you happy, it doesn't matter how others say you. Oh, isn't this so true? We tend to put a lot of stock in what other people think of us, their opinions, their approval, and it causes a lot of inner turmoil in our lives and a lot of misery and a lot of unhappiness, doesn't it. I mean, let's be honest here, A lot of us go around seeking the approval of others and seeking their blessings and their acknowledgment. And what we tend to do, then, is we ruminate on that and tend to do things to please others, and in turn a lot of times it makes us unhappy, doesn't it. I've done it many times in my life, and I think if you're honest with yourself, you can see where this may be true for you as well. So as you go about your day and your week, think about this. Do we really need the approval of others? Oh? I mean, it's okay to make sure you're doing a good job at your employer so you can maintain your job. It's okay to do things for others that are nice, your spouse, your children, your siblings, what have you. But when we do things and patter in our lives after seeking this approval from others, no matter whom it may be, and it goes against our fundamental soul and what's in our heart of hearts, it just breeds misery and contempt, sometimes even anger and resentment, doesn't it. And that's really what we don't want in our lives. We want peace, we want tranquility, we want happiness. Many of us seek all of these things, and it's not wrong to do that. And it's not wrong to do things that make you happy as long as you're not harming yourself or others. So remember, until we meet up again, my friends, think on this. As long as you know who you are and what makes you happy, it doesn't matter how others see you. Take this with you until we meet up again on our next episode of Think on This. And if you enjoy the podcast, won't you please share us with your friends and leave a review. Until next time, Remember, as long as you know who you are and what makes you happy, it doesn't matter how others see you. Until next time, Be well,
